The Kansas City Chiefs have made significant adjustments to their roster as they released veteran defensive back Robert Rochell and signed rookie safety Major Williams from Carson-Newman University. Rochell, who was a fourth-round pick in 2021, joined the Chiefs after two seasons with the Green Bay Packers. Williams, however, showcased impressive potential during his collegiate career, amassing four interceptions in 34 games. Although Williams faces an uphill battle to secure a spot on the 53-man roster, his successful transition from tryout to contract demonstrates his capabilities. The Chiefs will evaluate him further during training camp and the preseason.
